PROJECT: VILLANUEVA-ZUERA DUAL CARRIAGEWAY
CONSTRUCCIONES Y CONTRATAS BERNARDO, S.A. participated in the construction of 17 kilometres of new road between Villanueva de Gállego (South) and Zuera (North) (N-330, km 512–529) to complete the route of the dual carriageway connecting the cities of Zaragoza and Huesca, as part of the Sagunto-Somport trunk road. The stretch included bypasses for the towns of Villanueva de Gállego and Zuera.
The route of this stretch of dual carriageway runs 800 metres to the west of the N-330 road, keeping both roads completely independent. The N-330 became a service road for the new express route and the surrounding area. Both roads are connected by five junctions, two or which are within the limits of the municipality of Villanueva de Gállego and three in the municipality of Zuera.
Management of the design and construction project was responsibility of the the Aragon office of the Spanish Directorate General of Roads.
